Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This policy explains, in plain language, what Flowgraf (“we”) collects, why, and who we share it with. We keep it to what’s needed to run the product. We don’t sell your data.

What we collect

  • Diagrams you create — the graph (nodes, groups, edges, labels) and its edit history, so we can store, render, and let you edit them.
  • Account details — if you sign in, your email and basic profile from your login provider (via Clerk), plus your plan.
  • Prompts — the natural-language instructions you type in chat or send from your AI agent, used to generate diagram changes.
  • Usage & diagnostics — counts needed to enforce plan limits, anonymous product-analytics events, and error reports.
  • Cookies — a session cookie for sign-in and a lightweight anonymous id so we can attribute usage before you sign up.

Who processes your data

We use a small set of trusted providers to run the service:

  • Vercel — hosting.
  • Neon — the database that stores your diagrams.
  • Clerk — authentication and account management.
  • Anthropic — generates diagram changes from your prompts. Your prompt and the relevant diagram are sent to Anthropic’s API to produce the edit. Per Anthropic’s API terms, API inputs are not used to train their models.
  • Upstash — rate limiting to prevent abuse.
  • Sentry and PostHog — error monitoring and product analytics.

Sharing & visibility

Diagrams are shareable by link by default — anyone with the link can view them. Private diagrams are a Pro feature. Diagrams created anonymously (including via MCP) are kept for 7 days and then deleted automatically unless you sign in and claim them.

Your choices

You can delete any diagram you own from your dashboard. To access or delete your account and associated data, email us at hello@flowgraf.in and we’ll take care of it. Flowgraf isn’t intended for children under 16.

Changes & contact

We’ll update this page as the product evolves and note the date above. Questions about privacy? Reach us at hello@flowgraf.in.
